Privacy Policy | Angry Dance AI

Which personal data Angry Dance AI handles when you upload a photo, render an angry dance clip, pay or browse, how long we keep it and how to use your rights.
Oct 28, 2026

Effective date of this version: 28 October 2026.

1. Introduction

When you use the photo-to-angry-dance video maker at angrydanceai.video (the "Service"), Angry Dance AI handles some information about you. This Privacy Policy explains what that information is, why we use it, who else receives it, how long we hold on to it and how we keep it safe.

2. Information We Collect and Process

What we end up with depends on what you do on the site. In practice it falls into these groups:

  • Account information: name, email address, sign-in identifiers, profile details, settings you choose and data about your active sessions.
  • Generation information: the reference photo you upload, the routine, model and options you select, the clips we return, the status of each job, your history in My Creations and the times all of this happened.
  • Payment and subscription information: the plan or credit pack you purchased, your credit balance, order and receipt references, whether a payment went through, your billing email, invoice details, renewal status and limited payment metadata. Your card number is entered with the payment processor and never reaches our servers.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, which pages and features you open, request timing, error logs, performance figures and signals that help us detect abuse.
  • Communications: emails you send to support, reports about content, privacy requests, feedback and our replies.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small pieces of data that keep you signed in, secure your session, remember your language or display settings, measure usage and make the core features work.

3. How We Use Information

We use what we collect to:

  • Provide the angry dance maker, your account, My Creations, subscriptions and your credit balance
  • Verify who you are when you sign in, keep you signed in and help you get back into a locked account
  • Pass your uploaded photo and the instructions for the routine you chose to the video model you selected, then return the finished clip to you
  • Take payments, add or deduct credits, produce invoices and handle cancellations or refunds
  • Detect banned content, fraud, security problems and abuse
  • Investigate failed renders, monitor how fast pages load, learn which models people pick and improve the Service
  • Respond to support questions, content reports, legal requests and privacy requests
  • Meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Depending on where you live, we rely on one or more of these legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where the law requires it.

4. Photos and the Clips You Generate

To make your clip, we process your uploaded photo, your settings and the resulting video, and may send them to third-party AI model, hosting, storage and safety providers. Right now the Service works with a single family of models, ByteDance's Seedance video models (listed in the maker as Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5), which we access through the API provider Kie. The Service does not offer text-to-video or still-image generation. This list will be updated if we add or swap models.

A photo showing someone's face is used for one purpose only: as the visual reference for the clip you asked for. We do not turn it into a facial-recognition template and we do not use it to work out who anyone is. Please upload only pictures of yourself or of adults who agreed to be animated, and do not upload confidential material or personal data you have no right to share. Automated safety tools may scan uploaded photos and finished clips to catch prohibited content and misuse.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Some cookies or similar storage are strictly necessary: they keep you signed in, protect your account and make the core features run. We may also use preference and analytics tools that remember your settings, count how features are used, find slow pages and help us improve the Service.

You can control most cookies from your browser settings, but blocking the essential ones will normally sign you out and stop the maker from working. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential analytics, we ask before turning those tools on.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information to anyone. We share only the data each of these parties needs:

  • AI and content-safety providers that process your photo and clip for the model you chose or for a safety review
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers that run the Service and hold uploaded photos and rendered clips
  • Payment providers that process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, fraud checks and tax or invoicing duties, which may include Waffo Pancake or any other provider displayed at checkout
  • Sign-in, email, analytics, monitoring and support providers that help us operate and protect the Service
  • Authorities or other parties where the law or a legal process requires it, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect users, rights, safety or the Service itself
  • A successor organization if the Service is part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards

None of these companies may use the data for anything beyond the job we gave them, and each is contractually required to guard it.

7. Data Retention

We hold information only for as long as we reasonably need it to run the Service, keep your history, protect security, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and satisfy legal, tax, accounting or regulatory duties.

  • Account and generation information can be kept for as long as your account is open or your history features stay enabled.
  • Uploaded photos and rendered clips can remain in your history or in the storage required to deliver the Service.
  • Billing and transaction records can be kept for as long as tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention and dispute rules require.
  • Security logs and support records can be kept for a reasonable period based on operational and legal needs.

After we have verified a request to delete data or close an account, eligible personal data is erased or de-identified within 30 calendar days. Encrypted backups may hold a copy for up to 90 more days before the normal backup rotation overwrites it. A limited set of records may be kept longer where we need them for legal compliance, fraud prevention, chargebacks, resolving disputes or defending legal claims.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the law where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • To know which categories of personal data we collect, what we use them for and who we share them with
  • To access your personal data or receive a copy of it
  • To get account details corrected when they are wrong or missing
  • To ask for eligible personal data to be deleted and your account closed
  • To restrict or object to certain kinds of processing
  • To receive certain data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • To withdraw consent wherever we rely on it
  • To stop receiving marketing emails while still getting receipts and security notices
  • To lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

How to exercise your rights

Email support@angrydanceai.video from the address linked to your account and use the subject line Privacy Request or Account Deletion Request. Say which right you want to use (access, correction, export, restriction, objection, account closure or deletion) and tell us which account or data the request covers.

To make sure we never hand over or erase someone else's data, we may ask for reasonable information to confirm it is you. We confirm and complete eligible requests within 30 calendar days of receiving them. If a request is complex and the law allows us extra time, we will tell you why and give you a new date. You can change your name and some other profile fields yourself in Settings at any time.

Deleting your account does not erase records of payments, security events, fraud checks or disputes that the law requires us to hold, or that we genuinely need to protect the Service and the people using it.

9. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed by us or our providers in countries other than the one you live in. Where the law requires it, we protect those transfers with suitable safeguards, such as contractual clauses, recognized adequacy mechanisms and access controls.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, access restrictions, credential protection, logging and, where suitable, content-safety and anti-abuse checks. Even so, no online service can guarantee complete security.

If we become aware of a personal-data incident that we are legally required to report, we will inform the affected users and the relevant authorities within the timeframe the law sets.

11. Children's Privacy

Children under 13 may not use the Service, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If the law that applies to you sets a higher minimum age, you must meet that age as well. Photos of minors must never be uploaded for animation. If you think a child has given us personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete eligible data.

The Service may link to or work alongside third-party services, such as the social apps where you share your angry dance clips. Those services follow their own privacy policies, and this Privacy Policy does not cover information they collect on their own.

13. Changes to This Policy

As the Service, our providers or the law change, we may update this Privacy Policy. The new version will appear on this page with a fresh date at the top, and where the law requires it we will give extra notice of significant changes.

14. Contact Information

Privacy questions and data requests of every kind (access, correction, export, objection, deletion) go to:
